Youth Emergency Services, Inc. (YES) Ground Breaking

The Burlington Capital Team, Jeff Randall and George Achola, celebrated Youth Emergency Services, Inc. (YES), breaking ground at their future Housing Campus.  The new campus will feature 40 affordable housing units, expanded emergency shelter and street outreach, as well as education and programming space. This campus will consolidate YES’ operations from 9 locations into a single location, greatly improving efficiency and more than doubling the number of youth they are able to serve in a year. This project is made possible through the use of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, and philanthropic donations. Other development partners included Midwest Housing Equity Group, NIFA, and Douglas County Housing Authority.

YES, is also celebrating 50 years of serving youth in the Metro and has launched their Capital Fundraising Campaign – 50 Years of YES! YES, is committed to the rights and needs of youth and young adults who face housing insecurity in our community YES is still raising funds to bring this project to life.
