Burlington Capital is excited to announce a new joint venture with MANULIFE (TSE/NYSE: MFC) a Canadian based insurance company and financial services provider, in creating a farmland management company for Canada. This new company, Manulife Farmland Services Canada (MFSC), is focused on identifying quality farmland, facilitating the acquisition and managing of these assets for its Canadian investors. MFSC will focus its initial efforts in Alberta, where it has recently opened an office in Calgary. Josh Sawchuk, a born and raised Canadian will lead the new venture on behalf of Burlington Capital and MANULIFE.
