The Nebraska Ambassadors Forum expresses its deep appreciation to the American Academy of Diplomacy for their invaluable support in making this event possible.
On October 23 and 24, we had the privilege of hosting four distinguished former United States dignitaries in Lincoln and Omaha for the 2023 Nebraska Ambassadors Forum. Our honored guests included Ambassador Ronald E. Neumann, the Honorable Alonzo L. Fulgham, Ambassador Dawn M. Liberi, and Ambassador J. Peter Pham. The central theme of this year’s forum was “Diplomacy and Development.”
This significant event spanned across the campuses of The University of Nebraska Medical Center, The University of Nebraska-Omaha, and The University of Nebraska-Lincoln. During the forum, these esteemed dignitaries delved into the intricate realms of diplomacy and sustainable development. They shared their insights on policy perspectives, the importance of public and private partnerships, and the role of foreign aid. Following these enlightening discussions, the audience had the opportunity to submit questions for each speaker, engaging in an articulate exchange of ideas.
The 12th annual forum was a resounding success, bringing together seasoned diplomatic practitioners to engage with students and community leaders in Omaha and Lincoln.
