Burlington Capital has made a robust training commitment to its entire base of employees through the Better Culture® training program. Each employee has access to the “20 Tenets of Culture”, a program designed to highlight 20 attitudes and behaviors for employees to embrace.
Our Property Management Regional Leadership Team, from all over the country, committed to a more in-depth leadership training journey last November; The Mindset Leadership Program®. This effort was lead by Kevin McKeon, President and Ann Bruner, Sr. Director of Employee Relations and Development and facilitated by Kevin Hensel, Senior Consultant for Better Culture. We felt strongly that investment in our team would strengthen the foundation of effective leadership, while fostering a renewed sense of purpose and direction. By refreshing our understanding of key principles, we are a better able to support our teams, collaborate with our operational partners and work with our owners to navigate challenges and opportunities ahead.
On July 17, we celebrated the culmination of our Mindset Leadership Program with a heartfelt in-person graduation event in Omaha with Kevin Hensel, our trainer and mentor throughout the program. We were also joined by a very special surprise guest, Dr. Kim Hoogeveen, creator of the Better Culture® programs.
