Annie Bruner has been selected as a founding mentor for the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) “Maverick HERoes” Mentor Program, a new initiative designed to support and empower UNO women student-athletes as they navigate their collegiate experience.
Through meaningful conversations, goal setting, leadership development, and accountability, mentors will provide guidance, encouragement, and constructive challenge to help student-athletes grow personally, academically, and professionally. The program is designed to help participants build confidence, strengthen life and career skills, balance the demands of academics and athletics, and prepare for success beyond graduation.
Annie is excited to be part of the program from its beginning and to have the opportunity to support, challenge, and encourage the next generation of women leaders.
