Victory II Apartments Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting
Burlington Capital recently held a Grand Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in celebration of the opening of our third Veteran Housing Community, Victory II Apartments, located in downtown Omaha. The ribbon cutting, held on September 18, 2020, included General (Retired) John F. Kelly as a keynote speaker. The building, formerly home to part of Grace University, consists of 60 apartment homes for veterans who are at or below 50% of the Area Median Income. In addition to providing permanent, supportive housing to homeless veterans, the community also provides needed health, wellness and job readiness training.
Our local area news media, Omaha World-Herald, KETV Newswatch 7, WOWT 6 News, KMTV 3 News Now, Tom Becka, FOX 42, Fox 42 KPTM and KFAB, were given tours of the new apartments and shared the grand opening with our local community.
